New certification for our meat packaging materials
Greenflex’s Halal certification now covers Meat Netting, Elastic Loops, Elastic Twines and Stockinettes, underscoring our commitment to food safety and Halal compliance.
On 3 December 2025, Greenflex received a new Halal certificate from Halal Expertise Europe covering three core products: Meat Netting, Elastic Loops and Elastic Twines. The certification confirms that these packaging solutions are free from Haram or questionable materials. It is valid until 31 December 2026.
Already certified: Stockinettes
Our Stockinettes have been Halal-certified since February 2025. This certificate remains valid until 28 February 2026 and confirms that these textile coverings also meet Halal requirements.
Internationally reliable food safety: FSSC 22000
In addition to Halal certification, Greenflex holds an FSSC 22000 certificate (version 6) for our food safety management system. This certification is based on ISO 22000:2018 and additional technical specifications, and applies to the wholesale of textile and cardboard packaging materials and other consumables for the food industry. The certificate number is 142041, issued on 5 June 2025 and valid until 4 June 2028.
FSSC 22000 is recognized worldwide by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and uses international, independent standards such as ISO 22000 and ISO 22003-1. By holding this certification, Greenflex demonstrates compliance with strict global food safety requirements. It underscores our reliability and quality not only for Halal markets, but for the entire food industry.
